The Coordinator, CampusRecreation Facilities serves as a key contributor to fostering a cultureof health, inclusion, and engagement through innovative experiences andsafe facilities aligned with the strategic framework of the Wellness +Recreation Division. The position oversees and coordinates operations ofcomprehensive Campus Recreation facilities with supplemental oversightof Wellness + Helfaer Recreation facility. This role sees to thescheduling, staffing, training, risk management, marketing, andassessment initiatives across multiple facilities and serves as facilitycoordinator for Wellness + Helfaer Recreation facility by managingoutreach requests, EAP and marketing/promotions for the division. Dutiesand Responsibilities 1. Oversee programming and events operations forcomprehensive Campus Recreation facilities, including but not limited toWellness + Helfaer Recreation facility, Rec Plex, Norris Park andEmployee Wellness Center, ensuring alignment with student developmentand wellbeing goals. 2. Serve as primary scheduler for all reservationswith Campus Recreation facilities. Partner with wellness offices(Counseling Center, Health Promotion and Medical Clinic), Athletics,internal/external stakeholders, and on/off-campus groups to coordinaterecreation activities and schedules in Wellness + Helfaer Recreationfacility, Rec Plex, Norris Park, Employee Wellness Center and ValleyFields. Maintain an updated master calendar of all activities and workclosely with other Campus Recreation staff to schedule facility use. 3.Coordinate facility maintenance and cleaning needs through FacilityPlanning & Management. Submit and track completion of work orders,maintain a daily cleaning schedule, and coordinate special cleaningservices. 4. Maintain marketing and promotional materials for all areasof Wellness and Recreation (WR), including setting facility hours andposting related facility signage. 5. Manage all outreach requests andshare final requests with WR outreach group. Set and uphold clearguidelines and expectations for facility use. 6. Support ensurin compliance with risk management policies, promotion of the EAP , and AEDplacement and upkeep. 7. Oversee loading dock shipping and receiving,ensuring deliveries are distributed to locations throughout Wellness andRecreation. 8. Support purchasing supplies and submitting relatedexpense reports for purchasing card. 9. Responsible for the supervisionof student employees which includes but is not limited to hiring,training, disciplinary actions, ending the student's assignment, etc.This includes oversight of event and operations student-staff. RequiredKnowledge, Skills and Abilities Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science,Public Health, Recreation Management or related field CPR /AED /FirstAid Certified A minimum of 2 years of experience. Demonstrated skills indeveloping effective working relationships. Excellent interpersonal andcommunication skills. Must be available to work nights and weekends onoccasion. Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities CPR /AED /First AidTrainer Certified Lifeguard LGI Certification Knowledge infitness/scheduling software ie.
