Refrigeration Mechanical Startup

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Mead & Hunt, a nationally recognized professionalservices consulting firm, has a position available for arefrigeration/mechanical startup technician. Responsibilities includecompleting startup checklists and commissioning equipment for industrialequipment (screw compressors, reciprocating compressors, evaporativecondensers, evaporators, pumps and air handling units); diagnosing andtroubleshooting equipment during startup; developing pump down andtie-in plans; redlining as-built drawings, piping and instrumentationdiagrams (P&IDs), equipment schedules and layout drawings; managingARM/PSM documentation; performing mechanical integrity inspections;reviewing construction drawing for constructability and serviceability.Travel will be required. The successful candidate will have at leasteight years of relevant experience. The ideal candidate will haveexperience with any/all of the following: diagnosing and troubleshootingequipment issues; completing startup checklists; commissioningindustrial equipment; interpreting construction drawings andspecifications; site construction safety training. The ideal candidatewill also have their CIRO/CARO certification.
