Asa Loss Prevention/Security Associate you play an integral part increating an environment that is safe and comfortable for our guests andassociates, as well as detecting any suspicious behavior and preventingvandalism, thefts or other unlawful behavior and deescalating conflict.Connected to the newly expanded Baird Center, the Hilton Milwaukee isMilwaukee's largest hotel. Built in 1927 as the Schroeder Hotel, theHilton Milwaukee offers 729 well-appointed guest rooms and over 34,000square feet of meeting and event space. At the Hilton Milwaukee, wepride ourselves on continuous innovation through our approach toworld-class service, upscale amenities, and superior style. What youwill be doing: Patrol premises on foot and maintain safety for guestsand associates while protecting property and assets. Operate a dispatchcenter with responsibilities for key control, fire alarm monitoring, andclosed-circuit television monitoring, answering routine and emergencycalls for service, and dispatching call for service. Perform proactiveand professional security, safety, and loss prevention vestigate situations and conditions and write reports as necessary.Meet, greet, and assist guests and associates as needed in aprofessional and calm manner. Witness cash drops and monitor cameras andperform lost and found functions. Transport guests in company vehiclesto and from various locations, such as airports, local offices andentertainment venues. Assist in other areas as needed. What we arelooking for: Knowledge of security and law enforcement practicespreferred. Must have a valid Driver's License and clean driving record.Prior hospitality, guest service and/or security experience preferred.Ability to establish and maintain an effective relationship with alldepartment management, staff, personnel, and general public. Must bedependable and reliable. Excellent verbal and written communicationskills. Must work well both independently and with others as a teamplayer and under pressure.
