As an Engineer I you willbe responsible for keeping all building and equipment in good repair,minimizing down time by providing day-to-day maintenance and performingpreventative maintenance of the hotel. Perform dailyshift reports including documenting all calls in the Engineer's log,monitoring and closing out calls through Operator. Adhere to all OSHAstandards and procedures. Maintain building interior and exterior. Foster excellent guest/associate rapport by promptly addressingrequests. Perform preventative maintenance on all FF&E. Assist incost control: Heat, Power, Light, Sewer and Water and providerecommendations for improved methods and procedures. Troubleshoot,repair and or maintain the following: o All building and FF&E o HVAC;Heating, Ventilation, Air conditioning, and Refrigeration equipment oElectrical systems o Mechanical equipment, i.e. motors, starters, pumps,fans, generators and chillers o Plumbing and drains o Pneumatic andelectronic systems and controls Perform other duties as assigned.What do you bring to the role? Previous engineering experiencepreferred. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. CFCCertification for Refrigerant handling and Power Engineering TrainingProgram certification preferred Must be able to read and interpretdocuments such as Lockout Tag Out, MSDS, safety awareness information,maintenance instructions and procedural manuals. Must be able tocommunicate effectively with guests and associates Must be able toanalyze problems, identify course of action, implement solutions andwork as an indecent mechanic. Represent the company in a courteousand well-groomed manner. Must be able to use and understand hand andpower tools. Must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, lift, grasp,twist and stretch. Must be able to work a varied schedule to includedays, evenings, weekends, holidays and the ability to work underpressure. What's in it for you?
