FTE: 1.000000 Shift: Shift 1 Job Summary: The GI Lab Supervisor isresponsible for overseeing the daily operations of a busy academichealth system GI Lab, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality patientcare. This role provides leadership for clinical staff, managesresources to align with patient needs and budget targets, and drivescontinuous improvement in care delivery and operational performance. KeyResponsibilities: Supervise and coordinate GI Lab operations to ensuresafe, effective patient care. Manage scheduling, staffing, and resourcedeployment to support volume and productivity goals. Lead recruitment,retention, performance management, and staff development. Ensurecompliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory standards. Promotechange management, efficiency initiatives, and quality improvementefforts. Provide leadership and support in high-stress clinicalsituations. EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION: A minimum of 2 years of experiencein a healthcare environment in a clinical role is required. Leadershipexperience preferred. Quality improvement, process improvement, teambuilding, problem solving and coaching experience is highly preferred.EDUCATION DESCRIPTION: Bachelors degree in nursing is required. SPECIALSKILLS DESCRIPTION: Excellent verbal and written communication skillsare required. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office is required.LICENSURE DESCRIPTION: Required current state of Wisconsin RegisteredNurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License from a participatingstate in the NLC (Nurse Licensure Compact).
