Wire EDM Programmer/Operator-Temp - Hire

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Essential Functions: Set-up and maintain Wire EDM Layblock in machine with print as guide Indicate straightness, flatness etcwith magnetic head Plot and test run program for accuracy and accordingto print spec. Run machine and maintain sufficient wire and load wirespools Perform quality checks Drop slugs or remove waste material fromEDM processes Remove block by hand and clean with solvents and air gun.Programming for Wire EDM Coordinate incoming projects and repairs withtooling department staff Program tool paths Establish and meet projecttime lines. Supervision Received and Given: Reports to the ToolingManager OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: EducationalRequirements: High School Diploma or GED Experience/Knowledge/Skills: 3years' experience as an EDM programmer and operator.
