Packaging Operator

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Description: The packaging machine operator isresponsible for setting up and operating assigned packaging machines inorder to pack optimum number of quality packages of product. EssentialFunctions: Adhere to company human safety policies and procedures.Adhere to company food safety, quality and regulatory practices andprocedures Set up and operate packaging machine(s) to ensure finishedproduct meets all Customer/ Regulatory requirements. Clean and sanitizeequipment during changeovers from one product to another. Inspectpackaging equipment prior to line start-up and changeovers. Takeownership of packaging line results Maintain accurate and legiblerecords/documentation Oversee efficient and safe operation and of allequipment and personnel on line. Communicate with all coworkers andmaintenance staff to ensure optimal equipment performance. Assistingother departments as needed and performing related duties as assigned. OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Qualifications . Minimumof high school diploma or GED Must be 18 yrs or older. Prefer having atleast 1 year of packaging machine operator experience in a high speedmanufacturing environment. Knowledge of manufacturing specifications andquality standards.
