Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Senior Tax Analyst to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $90, to $, per year. Job Responsibilities: Prepare and review monthly sales & use tax and excise tax returns across multiple states Analyze and reconcile tax accounts on a monthly and annual basis Maintain registrations, certifications, and licenses with state and local tax jurisdictions Perform internal audits and ensure documentation of exemption certificates and permits Support accounting operations including month-end close, audit preparation, and GL reconciliation Requirements: Review contracts and confirmations to assess direct and indirect tax implications Analyze tax issues, prepare write-ups, and ensure timely compliance with tax regulations Coordinate with corporate tax advisors on income nexus, apportionments, and other tax matters Monitor tax law changes and communicate updates to internal teams Investigate and respond to tax notices and draft correspondence with tax jurisdictions Qualifications: An Accounting degree with at least 5 + years of sales and use tax experience 3+ years of financial accounting experience and general accounting knowledge Show intermediate proficiency in Excel and strong attention to detail Preferably hold a CPA license or be working toward certification Exhibit the ability to support special projects and travel occasionally as needed REF# #LI-DD1
