Our mission is to deliver high-quality professional services while prioritizing our employees’ well-being and cultivating a strong workplace culture.What You Will DoAs a Human Resources Generalist, you will support day-to-day HR operations with a focus onbenefitsadministration, employee relations, and compliance.You’llwork closely with employees, managers, and HR leadership to resolve issues,maintainaccuraterecords, and ensureconsistent, positive employee experience across all locations.A Typical Day at Prime ControlsSupport and coordinate employee relations matters, including intake, documentation, follow-up, and partnering with the HR Manager on case resolutionAdminister employee benefits including enrollments, qualifying events, and troubleshooting questions with carriersGuide employees and managers through the leave of absence process (FMLA, personal leave, workers’ compcoordination with Safety, etc.)Assistwith new hire onboarding and ensuretimelycompletion of I-9s, background checks, and required documentationMaintain HRIS accuracy, employee files, and audit-ready recordsProvide policy interpretation and general HR guidance to employees and frontline leadersSupport performance management cycles by tracking deadlines, organizing documentation, andassistingmanagersPrepare HR metrics andassistwith reporting for leadershipPartner with Recruiting, Payroll, and Safety teams to support the full employee lifecycleParticipate in and help coordinate investigations by collecting facts, scheduling interviews, andmaintainingcase filesAssistwith training initiatives and HR projects throughout the yearWhat You Will BringThe Basic3-5 years of HR experience, with direct hands-on work in benefits administration and employee relationsWorking knowledge of employment law, HR compliance, leaves of absence, and general HR policiesStrong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skillsExperience handling confidential and sensitive information with discretionAbility to stay organized, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlinesProficiencyin Microsoft Office and comfort workinginHRIS platformsThe PreferredBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related fieldHR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, or similar)Experience supporting HR in construction, engineering, manufacturing, or industrial environmentsFamiliarity with ADP, Paylocity, or similar systemsWhat We OfferFull-time employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including:Health, Dental, and Vision coverageFlexible Spending Account(s)Employee Stock Ownership Program (ESOP)Generous PTONumerous company events401(k) matchingWork Environment The work environment characteristics described here reflect conditions an employee may encounter while performing the functions of this job.
