If you're passionate about hygiene and want to create positive patient experiences, submit your application today!ScheduleFull-timeMonday through Friday8am to 3pmBenefitsMonthly bonus opportunitiesMedical, dental, vision, and life insurancePTO and paid holidays401(k) optionsFree CE courses provided by our affiliated vendorsResponsibilities & DutiesConduct initial dental assessments and collect patient medical historyPerform dental cleanings, including the removal of plaque, tartar, and stains from children's teethApply fluoride treatments and dental sealants to protect teeth from decayEducate children and their families on proper oral hygiene techniques, including brushing and flossingTake and develop dental X-raysAssist the dentist during dental procedures and treatmentsMonitor and record the patient's progress and report findings to the dentistProvide nutritional counseling related to oral healthManage patient records and dental chartsInstruct patients on postoperative and general oral health careQualificationsAssociate's degree or certificate in Dental Hygiene from an accredited programCurrent state licensure as a Dental HygienistCompletion of a board-approved radiology courseLaser Certification is a plusCPR and First Aid certification2+ years of hands-on Hygiene experience is highly preferredProficiency in using dental software, preferably EaglesoftBilingual in Spanish is a plusStrong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to manage a high-stress environmentExcellent manual dexterity and attention to detailStrong understanding of dental health and prevention strategiesAbility to work effectively with patients of all agesCommitment to continuing education and professional development.Ability to comply with safety regulations and maintain infection control standardsChart the condition of teeth and the overall oral health of the patientSterilize and clean dental tools and medical areasEducate patients on proper dental care and oral hygieneProvide assistance and support to the Dentist during major operations and proceduresComplete patient intake examinationsINDHRDH02
