Responsibilities u2022 Work in a fast paced, state of the art industrial lab u2022 Perform all tasks with the highest degree of conformance to all Safety standards/procedures u2022 Perform specified test methods and lab analysis on process and product samples u2022 Maintain rigorous conformity to methods and procedures u2022 Conduct lab analysis and Statistical Quality Control (SQC) tests according to schedule u2022 Maintain an understanding of basic lab QA/QC requirements u2022 Be familiar with basic wet chemistry techniques: pipetting, aliquoting/dilutions, etc. u2022 Effectively communicate lab operations to supervisors, chemists, specialists and coworkers as necessary u2022 Preferred but not limited to: Experience in wet chemistry instrumentation (titrations, RVP, UVs, ICP, distillation, etc.) and gas chromatography. Experience Required A minimum of 1 year of prior relevant experience and/or an associate degree or higher in relevant major (biology, chemistry, lab technician, etc.) - A degree with no experience may be applicable - No degree with experience may be applicable (example: no degree but has worked in a lab previously and/or has relevant technical-focused military experience.
