Warehouse Worker - Clamp Truck Operator - 2nd Shift

Position Summary: Penske Logistics is looking for warehouse associates to become part of an excellent team. Pay: $20/hr plus a $1/hr shift differential Shifts Available: 2nd Shift Mon - Thur 4pm-2:30am Additional Benefits: u2022 Paid Time Off u2022 Medical Insurance u2022 Dental Insurance u2022 Vision Insurance u2022 Life Insurance u2022 401K u2022 $125 Boot allowance after 90-days of employment u2022 Associate Referral Program Major Responsibilities: Job requirements may include the following where applicable: u2022 Accurately match numbers & letters u2022 Accurately stage and sort products for loading u2022 Loads and unloads trailers u2022 Opens and closes dock doors u2022 Maintain a clean and safe work area u2022 Sorts and places parts in racks or other designated areas u2022 Stacks cardboard boxes and pallets u2022 Move materials within the warehouse u2022 Complies with all safety requirements u2022 Electronically scan products using a warehouse management system u2022 Quality control u2022 Ensure damaged products are identified and removed when received u2022 Complete daily logs u2022 Communicate with associates from other shifts u2022 Attach identifying tags to containers, or mark them with identifying information u2022 Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments and material and equipment needs u2022 Reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed u2022 Uses computer to enter records u2022 Operate forklifts, pallet jacks and a variety of warehouse mechanical equipment (where applicable) u2022 Operate forklifts or pallet jacks to transport stored items from warehouse to plant or to pick up items from several locations for shipment (where applicable) u2022 Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor Qualifications: u2022 High school diploma or equivalent preferred u2022 Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions required u2022 Ability to work independently, customer service, dealing with others, multi-tasking skills, organizational skills, flexible, excellent with numbers and time management skills required u2022 Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook required (where applicable by location) u2022 Flexible to work overtime preferred u2022 Ability to work in non-climate-controlled conditions required u2022 Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job u2022 Willingness to work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required.
