Plant Controller

Description For more information, contact Jason Young @ 937/ 637-7759 Due to a promotion, our client is seeking a controller. The Controller is responsible for overseeing all accounting operations and ensuring the integrity and accuracy of financial reporting in accordance with GAAP. This role manages the general ledger, supervises the accounting team, and plays a key role in driving continuous improvement across financial processes. Key Responsibilities: + Manage monthly financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness + Ensure GAAP compliance across all financial activities + Prepare, review, and approve journal entries + Reconcile and review key balance sheet accounts + Manage and maintain the general ledger structure and integrity + Lead and coordinate the annual audit process with external auditors + Analyze financial statements and provide insights to support business decisions + Oversee payroll operations and compliance + Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team + Drive process improvements and efficiency within the accounting function Requirements Requirements: + Bacheloru2019s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field + CPA or CMA designation preferred + Must have 5+ years related experience in manufacturing + Strong ERP systems experience + Prior experience in a manufacturing environment required + Proven leadership and team development skills Robert Half is the worldu2019s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
