Warehouse-Inventory Clerk-1st Shift

Penske Logistics is looking for inventory clerks to become part of an excellent team. Responsible for the daily/weekly maintenance of inventory records, product adjustments, cycle counting reports, and the manipulation of accurate data. Track all returned products as directed by the customer for close out of returns from various customers and entities. Work inside a Warehouse Management System to research inventory problems. Experience preferred but not required. u2022 Maintains inventory records, assuring unit quantities are correct u2022 Accurately match number and letters, assuring appropriate number of individual units or cases on a pallet, and in a pick location or stock location u2022 Perform cycle counts u2022 Perform inventory adjustments u2022 Electronically scan products using a WMS (warehouse management system), to identify, move and verify inventory u2022 Ensure damaged products are identified and removed when received, communicate with vendor for return authorization, keep and maintain damage records u2022 Report quality errors to supervisors u2022 Uses computer to enter records u2022 Uses WMS to set and maintain item attributes u2022 Complete daily audit logs, inbound and outbound u2022 Resolve Inventory Discrepancies u2022 Work Overtime occasionally as needed Qualifications: u2022 2 years of general office experience required u2022 1 year of customer service experience required u2022 High School diploma or equivalent required u2022 Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint required u2022 Must have excellent attention to detail u2022 Good communication skills u2022 RF scanning system u2022 Must be approachable u2022 Willingness to work the required schedule, work at the specific location required u2022 Complete a Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required.
