As a Clinical Pharmacist in our Pediatric Infusion Center, you will play a vital role in ensuring safe, accurate, and timely medication therapy for our young patients. In this outpatient infusion setting, you will be responsible for order verification, entering the IV room to confirm compounding processes, and delivering exceptional pharmacy services. This position offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient outcomes while expanding your expertise in a highly specialized area. You will oversee the selection, dosing, administration, and dispensing of medications, ensuring the highest standards of care for our pediatric population. A caregiver in this role will work day shifts from Monday through Friday. A first or second shift will be required every 8th weekend. A caregiver who excels in this role will: + Provide safe, efficient, patient-centered, evidence-based medication services. + Verify medication orders and/or dispenses medications accurately according to state and federal regulations. + Document services in a complete, accurate and timely manner. + Actively contribute to medication safety initiatives. + Ensure all pharmacy operations are in compliance with national accreditation standards. + Directs staff appropriately to provide safe and efficient care and maintain professional working relationships with all caregivers. + Educate and train students, residents, other caregivers and/or patients. Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: + PharmD or Bachelor's of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited college of Pharmacy + Current State licensure as a Registered Pharmacist (RPh) or eligible for reciprocation in current state within 90 days of hire Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: + Board Certification + Completion of a post-graduate year 1 residency (PGY1), fellowship or relevant post-graduate pharmacy experience preferred. + Post-graduate year 2 residency (PGY2) or relevant experience preferred for Clinical Pharmacists hired in a Specialized Pharmacy practice area Our caregivers continue to create the best outcomes for our patients across each of our facilities.
