Accounts Payable Clerk

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Essington, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the accounts payable process, including processing invoices, reconciling transactions, and ensuring accurate and timely payments. This position plays a key role in maintaining financial accuracy and supporting vendor relationships. Responsibilities: u2022 Review, verify, and process vendor invoices and employee expense reports for timely payment. u2022 Match invoices to corresponding purchase orders and receiving documents. u2022 Ensure all payments are processed in compliance with company policies and approval guidelines. u2022 Prepare and execute payment runs, including checks, electronic transfers, and wire payments. u2022 Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies, communicating effectively with vendors as necessary. u2022 Reconcile accounts payable transactions and support month-end closing procedures. u2022 Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor records and documentation. u2022 Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and information. Requirements u2022 High school diploma or equivalent; an associate or bacheloru2019s degree in accounting or finance is a plus. u2022 1-3 years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting. u2022 Proficiency in accounting software and a strong command of Microsoft Excel. u2022 Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. u2022 Strong communication and problem-solving abilities. u2022 Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
