Description We are looking for a skilled and strategic Controller to join our team in Hazleton, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will oversee the financial operations of our organization, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency while contributing to our ongoing growth and success. If not, for immediate consideration, please apply or call Warren Knight at 484-214-2624 Responsibilities: u2022 Supervise and manage all financial functions, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. u2022 Provide strategic financial insights to executive leadership to support informed decision-making. u2022 Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. u2022 Develop and implement effective internal controls to protect company assets and minimize risks. u2022 Collaborate with operational teams to enhance cost efficiency and optimize financial performance. u2022 Lead financial analyses to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement. u2022 Mentor and manage the finance and accounting team, fostering a culture of growth and accountability. u2022 Drive the use of financial systems and software to streamline processes and improve reporting capabilities. Requirements u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. u2022 A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, including at least 3 years in a leadership role. u2022 Previous experience in the manufacturing industry is strongly preferred. u2022 Advanced knowledge of financial reporting standards and best practices. u2022 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data. u2022 Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities. u2022 Proficiency in financial software systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
