Sr. Accountant

Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our client's team in Jenkintown, Pennsylvania. This role offers the opportunity to work with a variety of clients, providing expertise in tax preparation, financial statement preparation, and client relationship management. If you excel in both assurance and tax services, this position will allow you to leverage your skills and grow professionally. Responsibilities: u2022 Prepare and review complex financial statements in compliance with high standards of accuracy and precision. u2022 Collaborate with clients and their accounting teams to reconcile accounts and adjust accruals before tax preparation. u2022 Manage the preparation and filing of various tax returns, including corporate, estate, and multi-state taxes. u2022 Analyze business operating agreements and calculate debt service coverage ratios for client borrowing arrangements. u2022 Conduct month-end closes, journal entries, and account reconciliations to ensure accuracy. u2022 Utilize UltraTax software for tax preparation and compliance tasks. u2022 Provide strategic advice to clients regarding tax planning and financial management. u2022 Build and maintain strong client relationships, addressing their needs with efficiency and care. u2022 Assist in audits, reviews, and compilations as necessary. u2022 Stay updated on changes in tax laws and accounting standards to ensure compliance. Requirements u2022 A minimum of 7 years of experience in public accounting, with expertise in tax preparation and financial statement preparation. u2022 CPA license or a Masteru2019s in Taxation is preferred. u2022 Proficiency in UltraTax software is highly desirable. u2022 Strong knowledge of month-end close processes, journal entries, and reconciliations. u2022 Demonstrated ability to handle complex and consolidated tax returns. u2022 Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with clients. u2022 Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines effectively. u2022 Experience with multi-state and federal tax compliance is a plus.
