This role will have the ability to make an impact on a variety of large project types in highway, roadway and structural engineering. In this role youu2019ll have an opportunity to move workflows to fully digital, model-based processes.When you join us, youu2019ll work with interdisciplinary teams to develop and deliver design and construction documents using CAD and 3D modeling applications for transportation projects locally in Pennsylvania and within the mid-Atlantic region with the potential to support similar national and international projects.Utilizing your advanced understanding of how all disciplines collaborate and how construction documents are produced to manage the digital model environment, youu2019ll collaborate with project teams to develop and maintain Digital Delivery Plans (DDP) as well as execute digital deliverables and support production teams throughout the complete lifecycle of projects.Additional responsibilities in this role will include the following:u2022 Coordinating with client and sub-consultant CAD & 3D Modeling counterparts to ensure that the department and project teams are meeting client 3D Modeling expectationsu2022 Defining department and project CAD & 3D Modeling standards and project execution plans, and deploy CAD & 3D Modeling customization and standardization to enhance productivityu2022 Develop, implement, and maintain CAD & 3D Modeling quality review strategies and maintain documentation of all developed and enhanced workflowsu2022 Maintain and support workflows for internal and external Design Content Management solutions including ProjectWise.u2022 Participate in all phases of project delivery, under the direction of Engineers, Project Managers, Designers, Planners, and the Digital Design Leadu2022 Generate and maintain model setup including project information, coordinates, scales, orientations, scope boundaries, match-lines, views, sheets, and general models, to accommodate the disciplines and project requirementsu2022 Monitor and maintain company standards and model healthu2022 Host Digital Delivery coordination meetings with the project team to ensure optimal quality control through Design Reviews and 3D Coordination processesu2022 Communicate, coordinate, and compile all project digital deliverables and exchange process at predetermined milestonesu2022 Project archiving at submittals and closeoutu2022 Assist CAD technicians and engineers with drawing production using traditional 2D CAD platformsu2022 Participation in Transportation related Digital Delivery Industry Events.#LI-LM1236 u2022 Associate Degree in Civil Engineering Technology or a closely related field or in lieu of education, 5 yearsu2019 experience in digital delivery for infrastructure projectsu2022 Previous professional experience in digital design and digital deliveryu2022 Previous experience and proficiency with CAD and 3D Modeling software (Specifically Bentley)u2022 Familiar with transportation infrastructure industry standards and practices, along with discipline codes and specificationsu2022 Previous project experience to include: highway, roadway and/or structural bridge infrastructure designu2022 Familiar with basic automation and programming applications for efficienciesu2022 Familiar with 3D design software add-ins and supporting applicationsu2022 Strong communication and presentation skillsu2022 Previous experience with and ability to work with multidisciplinary teams and to multitask effectivelyIdeally youu2019ll also have experience with:u2022 Bentley OpenRoads and/or OpenBridge modeling.u2022 Setup and maintaining Bentley ORD and OBM workspacesu2022 ProjectWise Deliverables Managementu2022 Infrastructure Cloud Project Managementu2022 Bentley AccreditationsJacobs is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
