Summary This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific eligibility requirements per VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Program Approval, award amount (up to $200,000) & eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after review of the EDRP application. The Philadelphia VA Medical Center (CMCVAMC) seeks candidates for the Lead Interpreting Physician (LIP) of Breast Imaging position within Diagnostic Radiology. Expertise is required in the specific area of Breast Imaging. Applicants must have an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree. The successful candidate must be American Board of Radiology certified or board eligible. Clinical responsibilities include: screening and diagnostic Mammography, breast Ultrasound, breast MRI, and image-guided biopsies using all of those modalities. At the Corporal Michael J. Crescenz (CMC) VA Medical Center, the incumbent would be appointed as the Lead Interpreting Physician (LIP) of Breast Imaging and oversee the clinical and administrative aspects of the breast imaging program.
