UPMCu2019s Pediatric Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder Program is looking for a Behavioral Health Therapist to join the team The Pediatric Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder Program is composed of both Outpatient and Intensive Outpatient programing and is the only one in Western Pennsylvania. We treat patients ages 5-18 primarily with Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Our team works collaboratively to ensure that patients receive a high level of care all throughout the course of their treatment. We highly value a positive working environment. This position works out of Pine Center in Wexford with daylight hours Monday through Friday. _Sign-On Bonuses up to $10,000_ Responsibilities: u00b7 Quality Assurance: Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement activities. u00b7 Documentation: Complete clinical documentation on the same day of service and provide necessary information for service authorization. u00b7 Case Reviews: Periodically review cases and serious clinical changes with supervisors and clinical personnel. u00b7 Patient Assessment: Assess changing patient needs and incorporate them into treatment plans. u00b7 New Patient Assessments: Conduct assessments of new patients under supervision, document clinical decisions, and implement treatment models. u00b7 Therapy and Education: Provide individual and group therapy, engage families in treatment, and educate patients on recovery. u00b7 Record Keeping: Document all patient-related activities according to guidelines. u00b7 Service Coordination: Discuss additional service needs with the clinical team and refer patients to appropriate care levels or community services. u00b7 Team Meetings: Participate in treatment team meetings to discuss cases, update treatment plans, and monitor progress. u00b7 Productivity Records: Maintain daily records of clinical productivity. u00b7 Treatment Planning: Create comprehensive treatment plans addressing a variety of patient needs. u00b7 Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Education in school counseling, or related field required. (Successfully completed the educational requirements as defined in practicing state's code) u00b7 One year of clinical experience preferred. u00b7 Knowledge of psychiatric evaluation and assessment process, as well as application of current version of the DSM preferred. u00b7 Experience in diagnosing and treating behavioral and psychiatric conditions preferred. ATTENTION: A COPY OF YOUR GRADUATE LEVEL TRANSCRIPTS MUST BE ATTACHED WITH YOUR APPLICATION IN ORDER TO MOVE FORWARD IN THE CONSIDERATION PROCESS. Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances: Passed the examination required by 49.11. relating to licensure examination.
