Overview Position Summary: The Aviation Supervisor of Janitorial Services is responsible for overseeing the cleaning and maintenance operations within an airport facility. This role ensures that all janitorial services meet the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and compliance with airport regulations. The supervisor leads a team of janitorial staff, coordinates daily tasks, and liaises with airport management to maintain a clean and sanitary environment for passengers and staff. 3rd shift Position - 22:00pm to 6:30am PAY - $23.00 an hour or The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. For information about ABMu2019s benefits, visit ABM 2025 Employee Benefits Staff and Management Team Members (Date 9.5.24.pdf) Main Responsibilities: u00b7 Supervise and support janitorial staff daily. u00b7 Assign cleaning tasks and ensure all areas of the property are maintained properly. u00b7 Train and mentor janitorial team members, promoting a culture of excellence and efficiency. u00b7 Conduct routine inspections to maintain cleanliness and address any issues promptly. u00b7 Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring proper use and storage. u00b7 Respond to and resolve any janitorial cleanliness or production issues quickly. u00b7 Communicate with site leadership and other departments as needed. u00b7 Ensure safety procedures are followed when using cleaning products and equipment. u00b7 Maintain records of cleaning schedules, staff attendance, and performance evaluations. u00b7 Perform custodial work when extra support is needed or in emergencies. Qualifications: u00b7 High school diploma or equivalent work experience. u00b7 1+ years of supervisory experience in janitorial services, preferably in a campus, aviation, warehouse or large facility environment. u00b7 Knowledge of cleaning procedures, tools, and safety guidelines. u00b7 Strong leadership and team management skills. u00b7 Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. u00b7 Ability to work independently and manage a team. u00b7 Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple. u00b7 Physical ability to lift, bend, and stand and walk for extended periods up to the entirety of the shift. Preferred Skills: u00b7 Basic computer skills for reporting and scheduling. u00b7 May require early morning or evening hours based on schedules. u00b7 Must be able to respond quickly to urgent cleaning or maintenance needs. u00b7 Bilingual u2013 especially Spanish u2013 is a plus.
