Adecco is now recruiting for a Logistics Operator position at Schott Glass in Duryea, PA Position Type: Temporary (a few months) Pay Rate: $25.55 per hour Schedule: Monday u2013 Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM Job Summary Adecco is hiring motivated individuals for a Logistics Operator role at Schott Glass. This position involves loading, unloading, transporting, stacking, and organizing raw, in-process, and finished materials. You will prepare glass orders for shipment, receive incoming materials, verify documentation, and ensure proper inventory management. Responsibilities + Maintain steady flow of materials through production operations. + Package glass securely and verify against packing slips. + Load, unload, and deliver materials to designated areas. + Operate forklifts and other moving equipment safely. + Maintain organized and clean work areas following 5S and safety principles. + Perform monthly inventory cycle counts. + Prepare outgoing shipments and related paperwork. + Build crates or special packaging as needed. + Other duties as assigned. Qualifications + High school diploma or GED required. + 2u20135 years of warehouse and logistics experience required. + Valid driveru2019s license required. + Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and work instructions. + Basic computer and Microsoft Office skills. + Strong math and problem-solving abilities. + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and over 100 lbs with help. + Must pass a background check and a drug screening. Physical Requirements + Frequent standing, walking, stooping, and lifting. + Must be comfortable working in moderate noise and occasionally humid or outdoor conditions.
