DescriptionWe are seeking a Global Cost Control and Compliance Program Manager to oversee and optimize our organizationu2019s ufb01nancial compliance and reporting on a global scale. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing cost process compliance while providing global reporting across all global business units. AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In other words, weu2019re the people who keep the cloud running. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. Prepare and present comprehensive reports that bridge data and justify observed patterns to senior management on cost control and compliance program eufb00ectiveness. 2. Monitor and analyze ufb01nancial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement. 3. Partner with training leads and stakeholders to ensure cost control process compliance. Develop and deliver training programs to enhance awareness and understanding of cost control and compliance measures. 4. Develop and implement global cost control strategies to optimize operational eufb03ciency and minimize expenses. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and drive continuous improvement initiatives. 5. Develop operational planning tracking compared to actual cost spend and develop automation to report out performance indicators. 6. Report on financial models factoring DC infrastructure variables including design, supply chain, schedule, and macroeconomic parameters to live-forecast operational planning numbers. Thatu2019s why youu2019ll find endless knowledge-sharing, mentorship and other career-advancing resources here to help you develop into a better-rounded professional. #DCCD_AMER Basic Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field - Experience in construction management of large, complex projects involving large-scale mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) plants - 5+ years of program or project management experience delivering cross functional projects experience and experience implementing large scale reporting and driving iterative project cost improvements. - 2+ years of experience in utilizing data visualization tools including Tableau/QuickSight/PowerBI to drive adherence to project controls processes and reporting to directors and leaders. - 5+ years of experience with financial forecasting and analysis.Preferred Qualifications- MBA, Masters degree, project and/or portfolio management accreditation, such as PMP, Prince2 - Knowledge of data center infrastructure or system components, supply chain dependencies, and planning criteria. - Working knowledge of the construction process, construction estimating/accounting, diufb00erent procurement methods, value management and value engineering, leveraging cost references/standards (RS Means, Uniformat, CSI Masterformat) and statistical data providers (US Bureau of Labor Statistics, material commodities) - Experience with LLM development and deployment - Proven capability working with, presenting to, and inufb02uencing senior executives - Proufb01cient in obtaining, organizing, auditing, and analyzing construction cost data to make fact-based decisions, drive root cause analysis, and evaluate outcome Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. The base pay for this position ranges from $98,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $210,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
