Weu2019re seeking a Geospatial Project Manager with a Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license to join our collaborative team and lead a diverse portfolio of infrastructure and geospatial projects. This role is based in the Pacific Northwest and offers flexibility to work from your home office or a Jacobs office.Youu2019ll work closely with engineering project managers, survey teams, and geospatial professionals across the region and globally. Your focus will be on managing and delivering land surveying and geospatial servicesu2014including control, boundary, right-of-way, topographic, laser scanning, GIS, remote sensing, and subsurface utility engineering (SUE) to meet technical, budgetary, and quality expectations.Key Responsibilitiesu2022 Lead and manage geospatial components of civil infrastructure projects, ensuring delivery within scope, schedule, and budget.u2022 Serve as the Professional Land Surveyor in responsible charge for projects requiring licensure and professional oversight.u2022 Oversee and direct survey and geospatial teams performing field and office tasks.u2022 Mentor junior staff and support professional development within the team.u2022 Ensure contract obligations and client expectations are met or exceeded.u2022 Foster strong client relationships through responsive communication and high-quality service.u2022 Develop and maintain internal and external client networks.u2022 Contribute to strategic planning and growth initiatives within the geospatial group.u2022 Prepare and review proposals, participate in interviews, and support business development efforts.u2022 Develop project budgets, schedules, and resource plans in collaboration with group leadership.u2022 Monitor project performance, implement process improvements, and manage change effectively.u2022 Ensure quality control and compliance with industry standards and client requirements.u2022 Manage project financials, invoicing, and follow-up on outstanding payments.u2022 Perform other duties as assigned. u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in Land Surveying, Geomatics, or a related field.u2022 Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license in Washington State, or ability to obtain within 6 months.u2022 Minimum of 15 years of experience in the geospatial industry.u2022 At least 5 years of project management experience with direct client interaction and full project delivery responsibility.u2022 Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and presentation skills.u2022 Ability to pass background checks and drug screening.Ideally, you'll have:u2022 Experience with Department of Transportation (DOT) surveys and right-of-way engineering.u2022 Proven ability to lead teams and drive business growth.u2022 Visionary mindset with strategic thinking capabilitiesJacobs is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
