In this role, you will perform a variety of radiological technical procedures specific to the diagnosis and treatment of breast disease. You will work together with your team to ensure the most comprehensive and compassionate imaging care for MultiCare patients.ResponsibilitiesYou will serve as patient advocate and apply compassionate communications of proceduresYou will model excellence in professional radiologic practiceYou will accurately produce mammographic images per protocol, making appropriate technical adjustments for body size and habitus, age, and past medical historyCollaborate with the radiologist to perform all departmental special proceduresYou will demonstrate knowledge and application of radiation safety principles for both patients and self and provide radiation protection when appropriateRequirementsSatisfactory completion of formal radiologic technology in an AMA approved schoolRegistered with the American Registry of Radiologic TechnologistsCertified with the State of Washington Department of HealthMammography Certification required, or eligible for certification; If eligible, must obtain certification within 6 months of hire into this job classificationPrevious experience with electronic patient information systems and/or mammography tracking systems preferredOur ValuesAs a MultiCare employee, we'll rely on you to reflect our core values of Respect, Integrity, Stewardship, Excellence, Collaboration, Kindness and Joy.
