Provide assessment, interpretation, and reporting of clinical observations. Perform patient assessments with physician and develop treatment plans. Perform and interpret results of video fluoroscopic swallow studies and fiberoptic endoscopic studies of swallowing. Confer with physician and other health care professionals on treatment plans. Communicate with patients, family members, and other health service providers regarding treatment plans. This position is performed 50% at Multicare Yakima Memorial Hospital and 50% at Yakima Ear, Nose and Throat Clinic.Minimum Requirements:Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, or a closely related fieldWashington Speech Language Pathology license or eligibility for licensureCertificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Hearing-Language Association (ASHA) or be in the process of completing a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) with supervision by a CCC-SLP in accordance with standards defined by the ASHAAmerican Heart Association BLS Certification or eligibility for certificationApplicants subject to pre-employment background check.
