This position requires a service-committed individual, who is detail oriented and can perform complex data analysis, exercise sound, independent judgment and demonstrate critical thinking skills.ResponsibilitiesYou will receive specimens, establish and maintain positive identification of specimensYou will determine suitability of specimenYou will acquire/prepare reagents as neededYou will perform instrument maintenance and calibrationRequirementsBachelor's degree in Medical Technology or SciencesCertification or registry eligible for Medical Technologist, MLS (ASCP), or MT (ASCP), or AMTSM (ASCP), RM (NRM) for Microbiology onlyCurrent Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist (MA-P) certification or Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist eligible (if duties will include phlebotomy)SC, SM (ASCP), MS in Clinical Chemistry or molecular diagnostics experience preferred for Immunology onlyOur ValuesAs a MultiCare employee, we'll rely on you to reflect our core values of Respect, Integrity, Stewardship, Excellence, Collaboration, Kindness and Joy.
