Description This position works under the direction and supervision of the Clinic Supervisor, Practice Manager or appropriate staff to support in the delivery of cost-effective, clinically competent, reliable healthcare in a safe, respectful manner that ensures patient respect and dignity. The Clinic LPN LVN provides practical nursing and office functions including lab testing, telephone follow-up, basic patient education, patient scheduling and care throughout the clinical visit as supervised by the RN and Physician. Participates as a fully engaged member of the care team, by demonstrated commitment to service and compassion for the patients of Providence and their families. Required qualifications: + Graduate of an approved Practical Nurse Program. + Upon hire: Washington Licensed Practical Nurse + Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association + 1 year of experience working in a medical setting. Preferred qualifications: + Coursework/Training and Two years of community college/business school training. + Coursework/Training and Additional course work in business or health care related subjects. + 2 years of experience in a busy physician group practice. + Experience with electronic medical records.
