We want your knowledge and expertise Job Summary and Qualifications As a CT Technologist, you would operate CT equipment, to produce cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs and tissue used to diagnose medical conditions. You will prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and positioning the patient to capture optimal images requested by the physician. u00b7 You will accurately interpret a physicianu2019s scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, prepare and operate the CT scan equipment. u00b7 Assist the radiologist in administering medication and contrast agents, performing biopsies and all types of care to patients. u00b7 Prepare examination rooms for CT scan and/or invasive procedures. u00b7 Monitor inventory of supplies during room rotation and maintain room cleanliness. What qualifications you will need: u00b7 Graduate of an AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology. u00b7 Basic Life Support Certification. u00b7 ARRT-CT certification preferred. u00b7 CT experience preferred.
