Amazon is looking for a highly motivated Sr. Systems Development and Operations Leader to drive the technical operational efficiency for AWS. The role will be responsible to manage teamu2019s that own operational problems, excellence, and support goals for AWS Regions. We are seeking a Senior Operations Manager with strong technical skills, problem solving abilities, deep customer affinity and communication skills, to lead our operations/engineering organization. This is a highly visible role that requires both business acumen when working with senior management, a strong technical background for understanding systems and database engineering practices, and technical depth for removing development roadblocks. The base pay for this position ranges from $160,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $307,900/year in our highest geographic market.
