Finance Manager

Description We are looking for a skilled Finance Manager to oversee financial planning, analysis, and operations in Chester, Virginia. This position requires a strong background in FP& A, as well as expertise in managing cash flow and accounts receivable. The ideal candidate will play a key role in driving financial strategy and ensuring accurate reporting to support organizational goals. Responsibilities: u2022 Develop and manage annual budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. u2022 Oversee month-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. u2022 Establish and maintain effective budgetary procedures to monitor and control expenses. u2022 Prepare detailed financial reports that provide insights for strategic decision-making. u2022 Analyze cash flow patterns and create forecasts to optimize financial performance. u2022 Manage accounts receivable operations, ensuring timely collections and accurate records. u2022 Collaborate with teams across departments to align financial strategies with business goals. u2022 Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance operational efficiency. u2022 Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies. u2022 Monitor key financial metrics and provide recommendations to improve profitability. Requirements u2022 Proven experience in financial planning and analysis (FP& A) roles. u2022 Strong knowledge of cash flow management and accounts receivable processes. u2022 Expertise in creating and managing annual budgets and forecasts. u2022 Proficiency in month-end close procedures and financial reporting. u2022 Solid understanding of budgetary practices and expense management. u2022 Advanced skills in financial modeling and data analysis. u2022 Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; advanced degree or certification preferred.
