Product Support Specialist

Description We are looking for a dedicated Product Support Specialist to join our team in Midlothian, Virginia. This Contract-to-permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to support critical business systems in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in IT systems management, reporting tools, and cybersecurity protocols to ensure seamless operations and compliance. Responsibilities: u2022 Manage and maintain IT inventory across multiple business locations. u2022 Develop and present proposals for new IT equipment, such as servers, printers, and computers. u2022 Evaluate IT investments to align with organizational needs and strategic objectives. u2022 Monitor and ensure reliability of backup systems and disaster recovery processes. u2022 Conduct regular testing of business continuity plans to minimize risks. u2022 Implement and enforce cybersecurity measures, including firewalls, antivirus software, and data backup systems. u2022 Oversee the management of enterprise systems and reporting platforms, ensuring their optimal functionality. u2022 Create and automate business reports using tools like Power BI, streamlining data processes. u2022 Provide technical training and support to employees, bridging gaps in understanding. u2022 Collaborate with stakeholders to translate technical concepts into actionable strategies. Requirements u2022 Proven experience in IT consulting or leadership roles within technology. u2022 Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 applications, including SharePoint, Teams, and Exchange. u2022 Familiarity with Power BI for data visualization and report creation. u2022 Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and IT compliance standards. u2022 Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively. u2022 Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders. u2022 General knowledge of basic network troubleshooting procedures. u2022 Experience documenting processes and systems for organizational use.
