Secret Systems Engineer II

Job Description Insight Global is seeking a Systems Engineer II to support a federal client in Suffolk, Va. The Systems Engineer will support the development, enhancement, and integration of Joint Training Tool (JTT) white cell control capabilities, specifically focused on Non-Kinetic Effects (NKE) systems. This position involves designing and implementing systems for the control, monitoring, display, and planning of NKEs within a simulated training environment. The engineer will work closely with technical teams and stakeholders to ensure compliance with JLVC standards and integration with data dashboards. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: u00b7 Enhance JTT white cell control capabilities. u00b7 Develop and manage tools for control, monitoring, display, and planning of Non-Kinetic Effects (NKEs). u00b7 Implement advanced visualization tools such as Cesium-based execution maps. u00b7 Ensure system alignment with evolving JLVC standards (draft and final). u00b7 Conduct regular assessments of JTT system performance and develop improvements as required. u00b7 Integrate JTT systems with existing or future data dashboards to ensure real-time visibility and control. u00b7 Provide technical leadership for architecture design, interface control, and software/hardware integration. u00b7 Develop and maintain system documentation, specifications, and interface control documents. u00b7 Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams including software developers, systems architects, testers, and operational users. Compensation: $45/hr to $50hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
