Ottawa, ON, Canada Sterling, VA, U.S. Hyderabad, India What Youu2019ll Do: u2022 Design, develop, and maintain embedded firmware for our clients proprietary products. u2022 Translate software requirements into well-defined tasks and deliver solutions on schedule. u2022 Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to ensure product reliability and performance. u2022 Enhance and support in-house development and debugging tools. u2022 Implement and optimize low-power algorithms to maximize efficiency. Who You Are: Youu2019re a strategic thinker with a knack for excellence, ready to tackle multiple priorities with agility and grace. If you have: Education & Experience: u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred). u2022 3u20135 years of professional experience in embedded software development. Skills & Competencies: u2022 Proficiency in C programming. u2022 Experience with ARM and/or Intel-based microcontrollers. u2022 Familiarity with real-time operating systems (RTOS) required. u2022 Knowledge of communication protocols such as TCP/IP, UART/RS232, RS485, I2C, SPI, BLE. u2022 Ability to interpret hardware schematics and debug using oscilloscopes and logic analyzers. u2022 Proficiency with version control and issue tracking systems (e.g., GitHub, Jira). u2022 Strong attention to detail, collaborative mindset, and effective communication skills. u2022 Nice to have: Python programming experience and knowledge of STM32 family microcontrollers.
