This work involves working on cutting edge HPC technologies to ensure that scientists and engineers will be able to fully utilize modern HPC systems. We are seeking a DevOps Engineers familiar with Unix/Linux/SE for our Data Centric-Multi-Level Secureu00ae (DC-MLSu00ae) Enterprise team. The DC-MLSu00ae Enterprise team provides initial deployment and coordination of initial site support for DC-MLSu00ae deployments which include HPC programs and other contracts as well as for our DC-MLSu00ae Core team. You will be an active member of the DC-MLSu00ae Enterprise team supporting multiple current and future contracts including the HPC contract. The DC-MLSu00ae Enterprise team is responsible for the development of documentation, scripting, processes, and other support necessary to deploy the DC-MLSu00ae Core product and working with the sites including HPC and other current deployments to provide full spectrum of DevOps support for the DC-MLSu00ae Core and Enterprise product and the implementations on the various contracts. You will work closely with the contract teams, users, and government to ensure the DC-MLSu00ae Enterprise and Core products meet requirements and fully support each programu2019s needs. An individual should have demonstrated problem-solving ability. Duties and Responsibilities: u2022 Deploy through Red Hat (RH) Satellite and Ansible automation and maintain Red Hat Enterprise Linux/SE Linux configurations u2022 Work with site administration one-on-one to troubleshoot automation/deployment issues u2022 Install software libraries functioning in RHEL/SE Linux environment to support DC-MLSu00ae Enterprise deployments u2022 Monitor and modify DC-MLSu00ae Enterprise in an agile and highly flexible environment u2022 Engage 3rd party vendors to translate and integrate manual steps into deployment process u2022 Apply best practices in DevOps engineering, delivering projects on time and with excellent quality u2022 Provide support to staff and end users to resolve DC-MLSu00ae Enterprise related issues u2022 Create and/or modify existing DC-MLSu00ae Enterprise DevOps to correct errors and/or improve deployment capabilities u2022 Develop and execute test plans for filesystem upgrades and address with vendor support any issues that arise during testing u2022 Potential for shaping new business growth with additional customers Willingness to travel to Mississippi (initial 1-2 weeks trip, then minimal travel) Our employees play an active role in strengthening the quality of life where we live and work by volunteering more than 850,000 hours annually. This position is contingent upon the program award expected in Summer 2025 Basic Qualifications: u2022 5+ years of a combination of Linux, scripting/software development, and configuration management experience u2022 Proficiency in Python, Perl, Korn, Bourne/Bash, Ansible and other shell scripting u2022 Experience with revision control software (CVS, SVN, Git, GitLab, GitLab CI) u2022 Management, development of DevOps deployment automation processes u2022 Ability to analyze/debug/maintain the integrity of an existing DevOps base u2022 Excellent communication and people skills u2022 Understanding of software development process including requirements, use cases, design, coding, documentation and testing u2022 Security+ Certification u2022TS/SCI with Poly security clearance required to start Desired Skills: u2022 SE Linux experience: configuration and policy u2022 Experience with RH Satellite u2022 Experience with Lustre, NFS, and other file systems u2022 Experience with Ethernet networking u2022 Experience with RDMA communications (InfiniBand and OmniPath) u2022 Experience with InfiniBand or Omni-Path high speed fabrics, including subnet management, IPoIB and/or IPoOPA mechanisms, fabric topology and health monitoring and integration with MPI u2022 Understanding and experience working with identity management systems including LDAP and token-based authentication systems u2022 New business growth experience, communication and shaping of new business with customers. #LMSpaceSoftwareEng #LMSpaceDevOps Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
