Entry Level Accountant

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Entry Level Accountant to join our team in Greensboro/High Point, North Carolina. This part-time role offers 25-30 hours per week and is ideal for individuals seeking to grow their accounting skills in a supportive environment on a part time basis. Responsibilities: u2022 Perform routine accounts payable tasks, including processing invoices and ensuring timely payments. u2022 Conduct bank reconciliations to verify account balances and accuracy. u2022 Assist in account reconciliation by analyzing discrepancies and resolving issues. u2022 Handle accounts receivable duties, such as recording payments and maintaining accurate records. u2022 Prepare and record accounting entries to support financial reporting. u2022 Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate and efficient financial operations. u2022 Support other accounting-related tasks as needed to maintain the integrity of financial data. u2022 Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders regarding financial matters. u2022 Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in all financial activities. Requirements u2022 Minimum of 1 year of experience in accounting or a related field. u2022 Proficiency in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. u2022 Familiarity with bank and account reconciliation practices. u2022 Ability to prepare and record accurate accounting entries. u2022 Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. u2022 Effective communication skills for working with teams and stakeholders. u2022 Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial procedures. u2022 Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced work environment.
