About the role As a CBRE Facilities Coordinator, you will work with clients, vendors, and contractors to ensure that facility tasks and work orders are complete. This job is within the Facilities Management functional area which focuses on all aspects of the operations of a set of assets, providing support to the Facilities Managers on repairs at a large Life Sciences/ Pharmaceutical site located in Concord, NC. What youu2019ll do + Work with the client and vendors to make sure they implement and recognize all procedures, policies, and reporting formats. + Acknowledge all client inquiries and generate work orders. + Collect information and generate work scope for projects and activities. + Verify vendor Billing and site Safety requirements are active. + Create POs and track billing and accruals + File orders, proposals, department files, permits and other paperwork submitted by vendors. + Manage and track projects and activities that happen inside and outside the building. + Follow guidelines, short correspondence, and memos and ask clarifying questions. + Respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and supervisors. + Use existing procedures to resolve straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion. + Impact through clearly defined duties, methods, and tasks are described in detail. + Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and mentorship. What youu2019ll need + Financial background a plus. + CMMS experience (Maximo/GMARS a bonus). + Writing permits (Hot Work, Safe Work Permits, JHA) helpful. + Mechanical knowledge for escorting vendors (Building Maintenance/Repairs) + Job Planning/Material Procurement. + Organized/Multitasking. + Computer Skills (Excel, Word). + Lock Out/Tag Out (Mostly for vendors. Electrical testing a bonus but not required.) + High School Diploma or equivalent experience or GED with up to 2 years of job-related experience. + Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work. + Communication skills to exchange straightforward information. + Solid understanding of Microsoft Office products.
