Job Description Day to Day: Insight Global is seeking an Automation Engineer to work onsite for a client in Liberty, North Carolina. This role would support the Battery Manufacturing Production Engineering team as they open and expand the world's largest Battery Manufacturing Plant. The Automation Engineer is a dynamic and critical role responsible for ensuring the optimal functioning of electrical equipment and systems within the production environment. This position requires a strong foundation in electrical engineering principles, hands-on technical expertise, and a commitment to safety and continuous improvement. u2003u00b7 Test and repair electrical equipment or systems. (Involving circuits, relay logic, wiring, motors, servo drives, etc. u2003u00b7 Strong ability to write, program, troubleshoot, modify and/or repair programmable logic controllers, robotics, cameras, and other electronic equipment. u2003u00b7 Troubleshoot and repair safety systems, machine components hydraulic and pneumatic. u2003u00b7 Plan and execute machine integration into mass production u2003u00b7 Complete proper documentation of work, including creating detailed schedules for assigned project u2003u00b7 Collaborate with team members and engineers Ability to problem solve and continuously improve safety, quality, and productivity.
