Manufacturing Engineer

Job Description Insight Global is seeking a Mechanical Engineer who specializes in product assembly. This is a hand-built product where you will be manipulating pieces and parts together to make fuses. This person will be joining a smaller team allowing for a career opportunity to help grow the business. Due to the smaller size of the plant, this person will get the opportunity to be involved in multiple functions of the plant. Responsibilities include: u2003Develop and optimize new manufacturing processes, equipment, and fixtures u2003Perform process capability studies ensuring manufacturing processes are in control u2003Provide technical assistance for facility to assure the smooth operation of processes u2003Support the process training for production employees u2003Provide process input for new and redesigned products u2003Work with leadership to troubleshoot processes and equipment u2003Responsible for accuracy of product routing and times u2003Continuously improve the production floor through Lean Manufacturing methods u2003Manage long term capital improvement projects u2003Support and develop processes for facility u2003Travel as needed for project We are a company committed to creating inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
