Novant Health is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to support our pharmacy team in delivering exceptional care Novant Health is seeking a Pharmacy Tech II-Certified, to join our hospital Pharmacy Float Pool, to deliver optimal medication management across all dimensions of care, every time. Float Pool team members will support the facilities in the Winston Salem Market including Forsyth Medical Center, Thomasville Medical Center, Clemmons Medical Center, Kernersville Medical Center and Medical Park Hospital. This individual will need the ability to travel to all facilities in the market as scheduled. Essential functions include: + Filling and delivering medication orders for all age groups under the direct supervision of a pharmacist. + Performing non-sterile compounding and repackaging. + Answering and screening telephone calls and referring calls to a pharmacist when appropriate. + Processing cart fills, refills to automated dispensing machines and replenishments to emergency kits and carts. + Demonstrating proficiency with equipment and software. + Collecting medication histories from patients and/or compounding sterile admixtures.
