ABM , a leading provider of integrated facility solutions, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Field HVAC Technician to join our team. The Field HVAC Tech. will support daily operations of HVAC systems across multiple retail and restaurant facilities within a two-hour radius of Charlotte, NC. This role focuses on light maintenance, troubleshooting, and reporting of rooftop HVAC units (RTUs). Technicians will inspect systems, perform preventive maintenance, and communicate findings to contractors for major repairs. No overnight travel is required. Compensation: $36 - $38 Hourly _The pay listed is the salary range for this position. Ideal Candidates: Ideal candidates will possess a positive, can-do attitude and understand the importance of building strong client partnerships through excellent communication. We are looking for someone who adapts quickly to change and can provide win-win solutions for both the client and ABM. Essential Functions: u00b7 Inspect and maintain rooftop HVAC units at client sites (e.g., fast food restaurants, convenience stores). u00b7 Perform light maintenance tasks such as replacing filters, cleaning coils, and clearing drains. u00b7 Troubleshoot HVAC issues and report findings to contractors for resolution. u00b7 Test system operation and record temperature readings. u00b7 Manage on-site contractor repairs and verify post-repair functionality. u00b7 Submit and close work orders as necessary. u00b7 Comply with ABM and client policies and procedures. Minimum Requirements: u00b7 Minimum 3 years of HVAC experience, with at least 2 years in commercial or light commercial environments. u00b7 Valid state-issued driveru2019s license and clean driving record. u00b7 Universal EPA 608 Certification (CFC Universal). u00b7 Working knowledge of OSHA safety standards and regulations. u00b7 Strong organizational and communication skills. u00b7 Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Technical Skills Required: u00b7 Proficient in HVAC system operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. u00b7 Basic electrical system knowledge for maintenance and repair. u00b7 Ability to coordinate with contractors and operational teams for efficient service delivery.
