Speech Language Pathologist

Health Advocates Network is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to work at a Facility in Chicago, IL. This is a registry position with our company. Pay Rate: $57 / hour W2 Shifts Details: + ?Class: SLP Shift: 1 Start: 08:00:00 End: 15:30:00 Qualifications: + Minimum 1-year previous working experience as a Speech Language Pathologist + Ability to build rapport with patients + Compassionate and caring demeanor + Familiarity with medical terminology + CPR card issued by the American Heart Association + Must have up to date certification in the state of IL Responsibilities: + Diagnosing, treating, and preventing speech, language, and swallowing disorders. + Creating treatment and therapy plans to suit the individualized needs of a diverse population of patients. + Performing screenings to detect voice or speech disorders. + Educating patients and family members about speech disorders and causes, including disabilities and traumatic events. + Keeping detailed records relating to patient conditions, care plans, therapies, and progress. + Reporting progress and current status to appropriate parties, which may include family members, teachers, or medical professionals.
