Overview Position: Certified Orthotist or Certified Prosthetist Orthotist Location: Marion, IL Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday Compensation: $80,000 - $99,000/year (commensurate with experience) Incentives: $10,000 bonus plus our student loan repayment program NovaCare Prosthetics & Orthotics outpatient center is now hiring a compassionate and driven ABC Certified Prosthetist Orthotist (CPO), orCertified Orthotist (CO).American Board Certified (ABC) certification in Orthotics orthecompletion ofaResidencyProgram inOrthotics(Board Eligible)is required to be considered for this opportunity. If youu2019re passionate about making a difference and value the importance of connection and creativity in your work, weu2019d love to hear from you _Employer will not sponsor work visas for this position now or in the future and is not interested in corp.-to-corp. business arrangements at this time._ Why Join Us: (benefits for full-time at 32+ hours/week) + Start Strong : Our mentorship and orientation programs ensure a successful transition + Recharge & Refresh: Generous PTO to maintain a healthy work-life balance + Your Health Matters: Comprehensive medical/RX, health, vision, and dental plan offerings + Invest in Your Future: Company-matching 401(k) retirement plans as well as life and disability protection + Elevate Your Skills : Unmatched CEU program + Go Anywhere with Us: 1900 centers in 39 states, offering internal movement Responsibilities + Oversees all stages of design, fabrication, fitting and maintenance of orthotic/prosthetic devices related to patientsu2019 needs, as indicated by a physician. + Assists physicians with the evaluation and analysis of the patientu2019s need for orthotic/prosthetic services. + Ensures proper patient management is consistent with established practices for orthotic/prosthetic care. + Identifies and reconciles issues/problems to ensure patient satisfaction with devices provided. + Ensures highest standards of patient care are provided to all patients, including but not limited to adequate follow-up with patients and physicians. + Reviews new techniques and materials to ensure the widest range of flexibility and services offered. + Maintains accurate documentation to clearly define goals, issues and solutions for each patient. + Provides administrative staff with information to conduct reimbursement activities. + Provides information to facility management to ensure proper management of inventory and materials. + Meets with physicians, case managers and other referral sources to market orthotics/prosthetics services and capabilities. + Provides on-call services, as necessary. + Recommends treatment options to physicians, when necessary. Qualifications + Bacheloru2019s degree (B.A.) from an accredited college or university from a recognized Orthotics and Prosthetics school. + American Board Certified (ABC) certification in Orthotics Prosthetics required. + Minimum of two (2) years experience in providing orthotic services under the supervision of a certified practitioner.
