Responsibilities: u2022 Manage patent prosecution matters, focusing on advanced technologies such as 5G, Wi-Fi, AI, image processing, and RF front-end systems. u2022 Collaborate with clients to build, develop, and manage their intellectual property portfolios. u2022 Conduct thorough research and prepare filings with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). u2022 Provide strategic legal advice on patent-related matters to clients across a range of industries. u2022 Work closely with clients to understand their business goals and align intellectual property strategies accordingly. u2022 Draft, review, and prosecute patent applications with a focus on technologies like autonomous vehicles, robotics, and wireless communications. u2022 Keep up-to-date with advancements in patent law and technology trends to provide insightful guidance. u2022 Contribute to the growth of the firm's practice by providing high-quality legal services and building strong client relationships. u2022 Mentor entry-level attorneys and contribute to teamwork and knowledge sharing within the firm. u2022 Support business development efforts by identifying opportunities to expand the firm's client base. Requirements u2022 A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. u2022 A minimum of seven years of experience in patent prosecution, with expertise in advanced technologies such as 5G, Wi-Fi, AI, and RF systems. u2022 Registration with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) or eligibility to register. u2022 Admission to the Bar and good standing, or eligibility for admission through waiver. u2022 Demonstrated experience in creating and managing intellectual property portfolios for clients. u2022 Strong academic credentials paired with excellent analytical, verbal, and written communication skills. u2022 Preferred knowledge in domains such as autonomous vehicles, robotics, natural language processing, or computer vision. u2022 Ability to work collaboratively with clients and colleagues in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.
