Accounting Manager

Description pivotal in overseeing the financial health of our organization, ensuring compliance with established accounting principles, and driving improvements in processes. You will lead a talented team and play a significant role in enhancing our financial reporting accuracy and timeliness. Reporting directly to the Global Controller, you will collaborate across departments to promote efficiency and effectiveness. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: u2022 Manage the daily operations of the accounting department, including the preparation and review of financial statements, ensuring they adhere to US GAAP. u2022 Supervise and mentor accounting staff, fostering a culture of professional development and accountability. u2022 Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring all accounting records are accurate and complete. u2022 Review and approve journal entries and account reconciliations. u2022 Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve processes and drive financial performance. u2022 Ensure compliance with tax regulations and facilitate timely preparation of tax returns. u2022 Manage the relationship with external auditors and ensure timely audits. u2022 Prepare and present financial reports to senior management. u2022 Implement best practices for accounting processes and oversee automation efforts. Requirements Ideal candidates should possess the following qualifications: u2022 Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. u2022 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including a supervisory role. u2022 CPA certification is highly preferred. u2022 Strong knowledge of US GAAP and proficiency in accounting software. u2022 Expertise in financial reporting and analysis. u2022 Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other financial tools. u2022 Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. u2022 Demonstrated ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment. u2022 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
