Sr. Accountant

Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in Saint Paul, Minnesota. In this role, you will oversee various accounting operations, maintain financial records in compliance with accepted policies and procedures, and provide financial support for reporting and analysis. Responsibilities: u2022 Conduct Balance Sheet account reconciliations and account analysis while ensuring accuracy and efficiency u2022 Supervise accounting operations for international branches, including overseeing external preparers for foreign tax filings u2022 Maintain and manage financial records and master data, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures u2022 Prepare accurate entries to subledgers as required on a daily, monthly, and annual basis u2022 Assist in the improvement of process efficiency and performance by initiating and overseeing special projects u2022 Provide financial support for financial reporting and analysis, including system report testing and general ledger reconciliations u2022 Maintain process and procedure documentation for finance u2022 Ensure accurate and timely subperiod, monthly, and year-end close procedures u2022 Manage the timely completion of assigned year-end audit engagement schedules u2022 Oversee the reconciliation of physical inventory on a monthly basis and maintain daily treasury reports. Requirements u2022 Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role as a Sr. Accountant. u2022 Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is required. u2022 Demonstrable experience with Balance Sheet Reconciliation. u2022 Must have experience in conducting Bank Reconciliations. u2022 Expertise in managing General Ledger is necessary. u2022 Ability to prepare and analyze Journal Entries. u2022 Proficient in Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting. u2022 Experience in handling Month End Close procedures. u2022 Familiarity with NetSuite for accounting and financial management. u2022 Must have experience with Oracle financial software. u2022 Experience with SAP is a plus.
