Clinical Professor - Nurse Anesthesia Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner DNP Program, Hunter-Bellevue School of Nursing FACULTY VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT The Hunter-Bellevue School of Nursing at Hunter College is the flagship nursing school of the City University of New York (CUNY) and cultivates collaborative nurse leaders promoting wellness and championing health equity in local and global communities through excellence in education, research, scholarship, and advocacy. The School of Nursing invites applicants for the position of Clinical Professor in the Nurse Anesthesia Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner DNP Program. This is a one-year term appointment with the possibility of annual renewals based on satisfactory performance. The Clinical Professor title is a full-time, non-tenure-bearing faculty title. An individual in the title of Clinical Professor is eligible for annual reappointment but may not serve in the title for more than a total of seven (7) years. The successful candidate will be a highly experienced practitioner or educator who will develop and teach courses, which may include clinical instruction, mentor students, and contribute service to the school, college, university, and profession. Research and scholarship are encouraged and not required. Additional duties include responsibility for committee and School assignments, as well as administrative, supervisory, and other functions as needed to support the mission and strategic goals of the School of Nursing, Hunter College, and CUNY. QUALIFICATIONS u2022 Doctoral degree in nursing. If earned doctorate is not in nursing, must have a masteru2019s degree in nursing. u2022 New York State license as a registered nurse required or following hire. u2022 Must maintain national certification/recertification as a certified registered nurse anesthetist (CRNA). u2022 Academic teaching experience and five (5) years of CRNA clinical experience, particularly serving underresourced communities, is desirable. u2022 Will demonstrate strong leadership and mentoring abilities and exemplify a commitment to health equity and belonging for all. u2022 Academic teaching experience and scholarship, if applicable, should align with the School mission and strategic goals. COMPENSATION Salary range: $109,898 - $155,388, commensurate with academic accomplishments and experience. We also provide ongoing faculty professional development opportunities.
