Research Assistant School Public Health

The Department of Epidemiology is seeking a Research Assistant (RA) tosupport the day-to-day operations of the Pregnancy Study Online (PRESTO)at the Boston University School of Public Health. Specificresponsibilities will include managing all contacts with study subjects;tracing lost subjects; coordinating participant compensation; overseeingbiospecimen collection kit and shipment supplies; monitoring success ofadvertising; updating the study website; performing quality control;performing literature reviews; assisting with mailings and subjecttracking for validation study and sub studies (E-PRESTO, home pregnancytests, semen collection); monitoring biospecimen collection andcoordinating sample shipments; overseeing the organization and storageof biospecimen samples in PRESTO freezers; organizing research meetings,drafting meeting minutes; maintaining up-to-date IRB applications andstudy protocols; and drafting grant progress reports. The RA will alsoassist Principal Investigators with basic administrative tasks,including booking of travel, processing of travel and meeting expenses,grant writing, conference preparation, and manuscript submission
