About the Role: We are seeking an experienced and driven Applications Excellence Specialist to support the Custom and Portfolio Risk Solutions (CRS & PRS) divisions. This role is pivotal in designing, implementing, and maintaining key business applications and systems. You will serve as the lead Business Analyst and primary liaison between business units and technology teams, ensuring seamless delivery of application functionality and operational excellence. Open to all HSB/Munich Re Offices + Remote Options Key Responsibilities:u2022 System Implementation & Maintenance: Lead and support the full lifecycle of systems projectsu2014from requirements gathering and documentation to testing and deployment. Ensure systems deliver business value, enhance user experience, and provide efficient access to data and reporting. u2022 Training & Documentation: Develop and deliver training materials and sessions for business-managed systems. Collaborate with power users to enhance system functionality and maintain up-to-date documentation. u2022 Prioritization & Communication: Manage communication around system status, releases, and updates. Maintain a roadmap of active and proposed changes and ensure stakeholders are informed and supported. u2022 Technical Support & Troubleshooting: Provide expert-level support for system issues. Investigate problems, coordinate resources, and implement effective solutions. Qualifications: u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field. u2022 Proven experience in business analysis and systems implementation, preferably within the insurance industry.u2022 Demonstrated success leading systems and operations excellence initiatives and cross-functional projects. u2022 Business Analysis training or certification is preferred. u2022 Experience in mentoring and indirect leadership. Skills & Competencies: u2022 Strong initiative and ability to work independently and collaboratively. u2022 Advanced knowledge of business analysis techniques and IT development methodologies.u2022 Skilled in change management and data analysis. u2022 Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation abilities. u2022 Strong relationship-building and influencing skills across all organizational levels. u2022 Ability to simplify complex processes and deliver clear, actionable insights. u2022 Adaptability and a proactive approach to change. The salary ranged posted below applies to the Companyu2019s Hartford, CT location. u2022 The salary range for this position is $ 99,700 - $146,200, plus opportunity for company bonus. In addition, the company provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO). u2022 The salary estimate displayed represents the typical salary range of candidates hired. Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, how many years of experience you have and comparison to other employees already in this role. Most candidates will start in the bottom half of the range.
